The College of Western Idaho (CWI) is seeking Adjunct Faculty members to teachIntroduction to Communication (COMM 101)in face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats—empowering learners with essential skills for success in college, careers, and life.

    + Participate in instructional evaluation processes

    + Demonstrate sensitivity to diverse academic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds

    What We’re Looking For:

    + Master’s degree in Communication

    + Ability to apply varied teaching methodologies (lectures, group activities, distance learning, technology integration)

    + Commitment to professional growth and development

    + Proficiency with technology tools, including Blackboard and Microsoft Office

    + Experience teaching at a community college or with adult learners preferred

    + Successful experience using instructional technology preferred

    Additional Instructions For Applicants:

    Most positions at CWI are in-person and based on campus. While some roles may allow up to two remote workdays per week, eligibility for remote work is determined on a case-by-case basis at the hiring manager's discretion. All candidates must reside within, or be willing to relocate to, a reasonable commuting distance from CWI. Employment visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
