    Our client, a leading organization in environmental health and safety, is seeking a EHS - Level I to join their team. As a EHS - Level I, you will be part of the Environmental Health and Safety department supporting safety compliance and environmental management initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to safety and environmental standards, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** EHS - Level I

    **Location:** Mountain View, CA / Bay Area

     

    Pay Range: $32/hr

     

    Shift: Mon- Fri 6:30 am-3:30 pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Work with the Environmental health and safety team to inspect and evaluate the environment, equipment, and processes in working areas to ensure compliance with government safety regulations and industry standards.

    + Prepare, process, and track analytical samples collected from projects, providing detailed reports of findings to clients.

    + Conduct routine inspections to verify adherence to regulatory requirements and company EHS procedures.

    + Maintain comprehensive files and records related to environmental, health, and safety activities.

    + Assist in investigations of injuries, hazards, and complaints by gathering relevant EHS information and recommending process improvements.

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + A bachelor's degree (B.A) from a four-year college or university or two to three years of related work experience.

    + Extreme attention to detail and careful follow-through in all tasks.

    + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exhibit efficiency, initiative, resourcefulness, flexibility, and adaptability to change.

    + Must be located in the Bay Area.
