What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations at the chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Monitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry, verifying identification and credentials of personnel and visitors entering the premises.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed according to site protocols.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, facility, and perimeter to help to deter potential threats and report any suspicious activity or irregularities.

+ Document and report all activities, observations, and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.

+ Collaborate with on-site staff and local emergency responders as needed to support incident response and resolution.

+ Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and authorized visitors at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
