    What You'll Do:

    + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.

    + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.

    + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.

    + Maintain a visible presence to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide a sense of security-related support to employees, visitors and/or customers.

    + Monitor entrances, exits and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access and support the protection of property and assets.

    + Document observations, incidents and/or irregularities in accordance with Allied Universal and client site procedures.

    + Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders as required by site protocols.

    + Utilize and maintain assigned security-related equipment in accordance with company and site policies.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + An armed guard card or license is required.

    + Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

    + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

    + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

    + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

    + Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

    + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

    + A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
