As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an educational location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related needs.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the campus and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.

+ Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to established protocols.

+ Collaborate with campus staff, students, and visitors to support a secure environment and address security-related inquiries.

+ Assist with access control measures, verifying identification, and helping to manage entry and exit points as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Must be at least 21 years of age.

+ Access control or badge experience is preferred.

+ Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.

+ Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
