_Procurement Specialist_
Adecco is looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team and play a key role in managing purchase orders, supporting internal teams, and ensuring high-quality service to both suppliers and customers. This is a hybrid role based in Austin, TX, offering the perfect blend of flexibility and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
+ Create, process, and manage purchase orders; expedite orders and support customer service functions.
+ Compile and maintain records, data, and documentation for accurate PO preparation.
+ Communicate with vendors and suppliers to request quotations, negotiate pricing, and maintain strong working relationships.
+ Reconcile payable discrepancies and resolve customer or vendor-related issues.
+ Research and verify specifications for products or materials that are unclear or incomplete.
+ Enter and update purchase orders, including blanket order releases.
+ Maintain product file integrity and ensure data accuracy across purchasing systems.
Qualifications & Skills
+ 5 years’ experience in a buyer or procurement role (manufacturing or fast-paced environment preferred).
+ Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal skills.
+ Highly detail-oriented with strong accuracy in data and documentation.
+ Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; SAP experience is a plus.
+ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
+ Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making abilities.
**Pay Details:** $32.00 per hour
