    Responsibilities for a Manufacturing Engineering include but are not limited to:

    + Support various engineering activities including drafting work such as 3D solid modeling, drawing detailing, dimensioning, and tolerancing.

    + Assist with mini projects related to engineering support for quality, sourcing, or manufacturing.

    + Provide occasional support to the electronics team depending on the candidate’s skillset.

    + Participate in different stages of the design process, including tender development, conceptual definition, detail design, design verification/validation, and product launch/manufacturing support.

    + Work with 2D detail drawings and 3D models of individual components (castings, machined parts, sheet metal) and large assemblies.

    Candidates for Manufacturing Engineering must meet the following requirements to be considered:

    + Currently pursuing a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

    + Ability to analyze problems, make decisions, and act consistently with available facts and constraints.

    + Basic skills with Excel spreadsheets and formula writing.

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to meet commitments.

    + Familiarity with Wabtec’s processes, systems, and ability to work within project schedules, budget constraints, and a matrix organization.

    **Pay Details:** $35.00 per hour
