    HR Business Partner (People Business Partner)

    Adecco is hiring an experienced **HR Business Partner (People Business Partner)** to support our Princeton, NJ area operations. This strategic role is critical in shaping, aligning, and executing people strategies that enable divisional success while contributing to Adecco’s broader organizational mission.

     

    As a trusted advisor and strategic partner, the People Business Partner (HRBP) collaborates closely with divisional leaders to build organizational capabilities, strengthen performance, and promote a culture of inclusion, engagement, and continuous improvement. This role also works in deep partnership with the broader People Team—including People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HRIS, Talent Management, and Learning—to deliver integrated, scalable People solutions that meet divisional needs and align with enterprise objectives.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Serve as a trusted advisor to divisional leaders by aligning people strategies with business goals and the organizational mission; build organizational capabilities that drive performance and long-term success.

    + Provide proactive coaching and guidance to managers on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, employee engagement, and performance management.

    + Act as a coach, advisor, and mediator for employees and managers to foster stronger communication, resolve conflicts, and support a positive, inclusive work environment.

    + Observe, challenge, and advise business leaders on opportunities to strengthen long-term organizational performance and alignment with strategic goals.

    + Partner with People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HRIS, Talent Management, and Learning teams to deliver integrated, business-aligned People programs.

    + Support workforce planning, succession planning, and talent development initiatives to ensure the division is equipped for current and future capability needs.

    + Champion a positive employee experience by driving engagement initiatives, supporting DEI efforts, and fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

    + Ensure seamless execution of People operations, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations, in partnership with People team colleagues.

    + Collaborate with local People Operations experts to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.

    + Leverage people analytics to identify trends, inform strategy, and measure the impact of People initiatives.

    + Support organizational change efforts, including communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and assessing change readiness.

    Required Qualifications

    + 10+ years of progressive People/HR experience, ideally in a global or matrixed organization.

    + Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law and HR best practices.

    + Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence leaders at all levels.

    + Experience collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence across multiple functional areas.

    + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

    Knowledge & Skills

    + **Financial Literacy:** Ability to interpret P&L statements, budgets, and financial indicators to inform HR strategy.

    + **Market & Industry Analysis:** Understanding external business trends and industry dynamics to align HR initiatives.

    + **Business Metrics Interpretation:** Connecting workforce metrics to organizational performance.

    + **Root Cause Analysis & Problem Solving:** Diagnosing business challenges and designing targeted HR solutions.

    + **Commercial & Strategic Awareness:** Understanding business models, value drivers, and long-term workforce needs.

    + **Systems Thinking:** Recognizing cross-functional interdependencies and anticipating impacts of HR decisions.

    + **Scenario Planning & Future Orientation:** Preparing organizations for future talent and capability needs.

    + **Organizational Change Management:** Assessing change readiness, crafting communication strategies, and supporting adoption.

    + **Stakeholder Engagement:** Influencing, building coalitions, and managing resistance.

    + **Project & Program Management:** Leading cross-functional initiatives with strong planning and governance.

     

    Education & Experience

    Required:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.

    + 6+ years of progressive HR experience with increasing responsibilities in business partnering, employee relations, and talent development.

    Preferred:

    + Master’s degree.

    + Experience supporting global teams or working within international environments.

    + Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships and collaborate across HR functions (TA, Total Rewards, HR Operations, HRIS, L&D).

    + SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.

    **Pay Details:** $1.00 per hour
