Job Title: Process TechnicianJob Description
As a Process Technician, you will collaborate closely with Process/Project Engineering, Tool Engineering, and Production teams to facilitate new product launches on the production floor. Your role will also involve investigating and developing solutions for ongoing issues in existing processes. This position requires hands-on technical support on the production floor for a significant portion of your time.
Responsibilities
+ Provide process operations support with hands-on troubleshooting and development.
+ Assist in process optimization.
+ Analyze data to improve process tool and process quality.
+ Verify manufacturing standards, comparing actual versus estimated performance.
+ Conduct process capability and uptime studies to meet pre-determined goals before formal handoff to manufacturing.
+ Assist the Maintenance Team with recurring machine problems.
+ Implement continuous improvement, cost reduction, and safety projects.
+ Research and conduct trials on supplies and consumables to enhance cost-effectiveness and quality.
+ Investigate and coordinate tooling improvements, repairs, and replacements.
+ Monitor standard tooling inventories to ensure adequate stock levels.
+ Facilitate initial manufacturing review of setup books and coordinate ongoing updates.
+ Program BLM tube lasers and 5 Axis lasers, providing support for laser-related manufacturing issues.
+ Program material handling and welding robots.
+ Offer technical support and problem-solving expertise to the manufacturing team.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shelbyville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.50/hr.
