We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in laser and plasma cutting processes to join our team. This role is critical in optimizing production efficiency, ensuring quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations.
Job Duties
+ Develop, implement, and optimize laser and plasma cutting processes for metal fabrication.
+ Create and maintain process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.
+ Collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and compliance with specifications.
+ Troubleshoot cutting equipment and process issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
+ Analyze production data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
+ Support new product introduction and prototype development related to cutting operations.
+ Ensure adherence to safety standards and quality requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
+ 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with laser and plasma cutting processes.
+ Strong knowledge of CNC programming, cutting parameters, and material properties.
+ Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and ability to interpret technical drawings.
+ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
+ Knowledge of automation and robotics integration in cutting processes.
+ Understanding of welding and secondary fabrication processes.
