    Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician on the 2nd shift, from 3pm to 11:20pm, where you will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial ice cream equipment.

    Responsibilities

    + Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial ice cream equipment including conveyors, blenders/mixers, pumps/motors, packaging equipment, freezers, and refrigeration equipment.

    + Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on equipment.

    + Work with gauges, valves, sensors, and pressure systems.

    + Conduct 70% mechanical and 30% PLC/electrical maintenance tasks.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance roles.

    + Experience with 3 phase 480V electrical systems.

    + Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to think outside the box for innovative solutions.

    + Possession of RETA CIRO certification or universal refrigeration certification is preferred.

    + PLC troubleshooting experience is preferred but not required.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must supply own basic hand tools.

    + Valid driver's license is required.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a clean, GMP-regulated environment where safety is a priority. Dress code includes wearing hair and beard nets, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and earplugs. No fingernail polish or jewelry is allowed. Work in a very cold environment, sometimes as low as 0 degrees, with freezer suits provided.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
