    **Position:** Quality Coordinator (RN)

    **Schedule:** Per Diem/PRN, 8AM-4:30PM

     

    Compensation: $52/Hour

    Responsibilities

    The **Quality Coordinator** is responsible for assisting the Director of Quality Management (DQM) with all aspects of the hospital's Quality Program. The Quality Coordinator's responsibilities may include data collection/input, analysis, and reporting for risk management, quality improvement, survey readiness, infection control, employee health, and education.

     

    + Assists with all assigned activities to ensure the facility maintains accreditation, certification, and licensure.

    + Assists with implementation of the Hospital Quality Plan.

    + Assists with preparation of quarterly quality meetings.

    + Assists with survey readiness and root cause analyses.

    + Assists in the implementation of new and revised policies/procedures.

    + Assists with medical staff quality improvement activities, including ongoing and focused professional practice evaluations.

    + Assists the DQM with data entry into various electronic databases.

    + Assists with the implementation of the infection control plan and reporting as required.

    + Participates in employee training and education.

    + Assist with employee health activities.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements

    + Valid professional NJ RN License required

    Preferred Qualifications

    + 2 years of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care preferred

    + Previous experience with one major area of responsibility preferred (quality improvement, risk management, infection control, or survey readiness)

    + Demonstrates familiarity with accrediting standards, including TJC and CARF preferred
