Job Title: Tile Craftsman

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced **Tile Setter** to join our team in a state-of-the-art home manufacturing facility. This role is critical to achieving the highest quality finish standards in residential construction. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in tile installation and a strong eye for detail.

**Shift** : 1st Shift (6am-2:30pm) M-F, with OT opportunities on Saturday's

Responsibilities

+ Install ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in kitchens, bathrooms, and other residential spaces

+ Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying appropriate underlayment

+ Measure and cut tiles accurately to fit design specifications

+ Apply grout and sealants to ensure durability and aesthetic quality

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience as a tile setter in residential construction

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and design plans

+ Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

+ Knowledge of tools, materials, and safety practices

+ Physical ability to lift and handle heavy materials

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Proficiency in cutting and shaping tiles using manual and power tools

+ Knowledge of different tile materials (ceramic, porcelain, stone, glass) and installation techniques

+ Ability to mix and apply adhesives, grout, and sealants correctly

+ Experience with waterproofing and underlayment systems

+ Strong problem-solving skills for layout challenges and custom designs

+ Familiarity with safety standards and proper use of PPE

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team

+ Excellent time management and organizational skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
