Description We are looking for an experienced Indirect Tax Manager to oversee corporate tax compliance and manage various indirect tax processes. This role requires expertise in Avalara software and a strong understanding of property taxes, gross receipts, and business license filings. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to multi-state tax returns and ensure timely, accurate filings across all jurisdictions.

Responsibilities:

• Manage indirect tax processes, including property taxes, gross receipts, and business license filings.

• Prepare and file quarterly, bi-annual, and annual indirect tax returns with precision.

• Utilize Avalara software to streamline tax compliance and reporting.

• Ensure accurate filings for prior year fixed assets and multi-state tax returns.

• Oversee corporate tax compliance and address any discrepancies or audits.

• Maintain and update records related to indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary data for tax filings.

• Analyze tax obligations and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency.

• Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax management or a related field.

• Proficiency in Avalara software and indirect tax compliance.

• Strong knowledge of property taxes, business licenses, and gross receipts.

• Proven ability to prepare and file multi-state tax returns accurately.

• Experience handling quarterly, bi-annual, and annual tax filings.

• Familiarity with fixed asset tax reporting and prior year adjustments.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to stay informed about evolving tax regulations and apply them effectively.
