    Senior Accountant (Contract) | Oakland, CA- Full time and Part Time/Hybrid and Onsite Opportunities

     

    Robert Half is seeking experienced Senior Accountants to support our clients with critical end-of-year accounting activities.

     

    This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to make an immediate impact in a dynamic environment.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data.

    + Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.

    + Prepare and review journal entries and supporting documentation.

    + Analyze variances and resolve discrepancies promptly.

    + Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with accounting standards.

    Requirements

    Qualifications

    + 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a senior or lead role.

    + Strong knowledge of GAAP and end-of-year close procedures.

    + Proficiency in Excel and major accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).

    + Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
