Description We are looking for an experienced Sr. Legal Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive support to the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer and other designated leaders. This role involves managing diverse administrative tasks, coordinating complex schedules, and ensuring seamless project execution. As part of a long-term contract position based in Boston, Massachusetts, you will play a critical role in facilitating legal operations and compliance processes.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and coordinate calendars for senior legal leadership, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
• Draft, edit, and proofread legal documents, presentations, and memoranda to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
• Prepare invoices, expense reports, and vouchers while maintaining proper documentation.
• Support contract management processes by processing contracts, redacting legal materials, and updating document metadata in lifecycle management software.
• Train employees and board members on utilizing legal business management software effectively.
• Oversee complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
• Provide project management assistance to League staff, ensuring smooth collaboration and execution.
• Pull legal reference materials and assist with trial preparation tasks, including drafting pleadings.
• Manage legal request and compliance management software to streamline operations.
• Ensure compliance with contract execution processes by guiding signature processors and maintaining adherence to standards. Requirements • Proven experience in litigation support, including trial preparation and drafting pleadings.
• Proficiency in e-filing systems and calendar docket management.
• Strong skills in managing complex schedules and coordinating travel arrangements.
• Expertise in legal documentation processes, including contract lifecycle management.
• Ability to proofread and edit legal memoranda with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with redacting sensitive legal materials and managing metadata.
• Experience training employees on legal software systems.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
