    Description

    Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist (On-Site)

    A growing organization is looking for a detail-oriented Billing & AR Specialist to handle a wide range of invoicing, contract billing, and payment functions. This role supports internal teams and ensures accurate, timely financial processing.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and issue customer invoices with a high level of accuracy

    + Review supporting documents such as purchase orders and service agreements for correct terms

    + Manage recurring contract cycles, including renewals and cancellations

    + Coordinate with external vendors for pricing details and licensing information

    + Assist with billing related to service activity and reconcile logged hours

    + Enter and apply customer payments in the accounting system

    + Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on past-due accounts

    + Work directly with customers to resolve billing questions or discrepancies

    + Support monthly and annual closing activities

    + Work with internal departments to address billing or collection concerns

    + Generate reports related to customer contracts

    + Use internal systems to produce and maintain billing data

    + Recommend improvements to streamline billing processes
