Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join a dynamic team within the hospitality industry. This contract position is based in New York, New York, and offers the opportunity to contribute to the financial operations of a luxury hotel. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in accounts receivable processes, excellent communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach to managing financial tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounts receivable processes, including timely billing and collections.

• Apply cash payments accurately and ensure proper allocation to accounts.

• Communicate with customers to resolve inquiries and address payment-related concerns.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist with light journal entries and ensure proper documentation.

• Manage email correspondence related to billing and payment matters.

• Handle commercial collections with professionalism and efficiency.

• Support ad-hoc financial projects as assigned by the supervisor.

• Ensure compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.

• Utilize NetSuite and Concur systems effectively to streamline processes. Requirements • At least 2 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related financial role.

• Proficiency in commercial collections and cash application processes.

• Strong knowledge of billing functions and account reconciliation.

• Experience with journal entries and general accounting principles.

• Familiarity with NetSuite and Concur systems is preferred.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
