We are seeking a dynamic Communications Specialist responsible for the end-to-end creation and deployment of internal communications supporting business and culture initiatives. The role involves serving as the point person for all business-related communication requests, managing the content calendar, collaborating with creative and IT teams, and ensuring platforms like MyHub are up-to-date with relevant content.
Responsibilities
+ Create and deploy internal communications for various business and culture initiatives such as Modern Workplace and Safe Restart.
+ Serve as the point person for communication requests, manage content calendars, and determine appropriate communication platforms.
+ Collaborate with creative and IT teams to maintain and improve content on MyHub.
+ Assist in planning and executing live meetings and events like All Hands Meetings and Real Talks.
+ Develop messaging to support business initiatives such as 90 Day Sprints and Performance Engagement.
+ Maintain logistics for the High5 recognition platform, including handling billing and invoices.
+ Enhance the company's image as an employer of choice through external and internal talent channels.
+ Lead the Employee Spotlight initiative by identifying candidates and creating content.
+ Support external communications and events, amplifying them internally.
+ Analyze marketing program effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.
+ Build relationships with brand and marketing peers to enhance corporate messaging strategies.
+ Manage information security in compliance with company policies and regulations.
+ Collect, analyze, and present data and prepare reports and statistical information.
+ Interpret and comply with company policies and regulations.
+ Provide solutions and recommendations through designated communication channels.
Essential Skills
+ Strong writing and communication skills.
+ Experience with internal communications.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Windows-based databases.
+ Ability to partner with cross-functional teams.
+ Analytics-oriented with familiarity in communication analytics tools.
+ Experience with SharePoint.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Bachelor's Degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience, or four years of experience in communications, marketing, or a related function.
+ Experience in developing corporate communications and overall communication plans.
+ Organizational Change Management (OCM) skills.
+ Experience in automotive OE or automotive agency support.
+ Understanding of media outreach tactics, social media, and digital user experience.
+ B2B brand building experience.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment with two days per week in the office, typically on Wednesdays and one additional flex day.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Peachtree City, GA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $36.00/hr.
