Job Title: Industry Coordinator - Music Industry
Job Description
Join a dynamic team in the music industry, where you will play a key role in supporting business growth through strategic partnerships with record labels, artists, and managers. This role involves both support responsibilities and project work, offering a unique opportunity to gain music industry experience in a fun and fast-paced environment. Regular communication with internal and external partners is crucial.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate meeting agendas, take notes, and summarize action items.
+ Fulfill administrative tasks such as invoice tracking, payments, and contracting.
+ Reach out to labels for follow-ups and to collect assets and deliverables.
+ Track artist partnerships and social media engagements.
+ Create, review, and update project and campaign trackers.
+ Conduct research projects and audits as directed by the team.
+ Create campaign decks and gather necessary inputs.
+ Coordinate and prepare for artist meetings and visits.
+ Provide project-based support, including budgeting, event management, newsletters, and database management.
+ Initiate and drive process improvement projects within the department.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree or MBA (preferred).
+ Project coordination/management skills.
+ Strong interest and experience in the music industry.
+ Basic technical skills, especially in creating PowerPoint decks.
+ Experience or internships with music labels, big tech companies, streaming services, or social media companies like Meta or TikTok.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Entry-level position suitable for those currently enrolled or graduated from college, ideally in a music program or related fields.
+ Comfortable working independently and within a team.
+ Available for a 12-month internship.
+ Experience in media groups or departments is beneficial.
Work Environment
The work environment is flexible with hours, requiring a minimum of 2 days of work, ranging from 15-40 hours depending on the candidate's schedule. The role is hybrid, with a preference for onsite presence to maximize team interaction and experience. Being in the office between 9-5 is ideal. The role is based in Seattle, within a project management team, focusing on internal operations rather than direct music industry roles. An interest in music is advantageous as projects often involve partnerships with festivals and live streaming.

This is a Contract position based out of Seattle, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
