The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is one of Georgia’s four health agencies serving the state’s growing population of almost 10 million people. DCH serves as the lead agency for Medicaid, oversees the State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP), and includes Healthcare Facility Regulation, impacting one in four Georgians. Through effective planning, purchasing and oversight, DCH provides access to affordable, quality health care to millions of Georgians, including some of the state’s most vulnerable and under-served populations. Six enterprise offices support the work of the agency’s four program divisions. DCH employees are based in Atlanta, Cordele and across the state.

The Georgia Department of Community Health (DCH) is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Case Intake and Data Analytics Assistant Director, in the Office of Inspector General, Program Integrity Unit. The position provides critical support functions within the Program Integrity Unit and the Office of Inspector General, which helps safeguard the agency from fraud, waste, and abuse. The selected candidate will serve as direct report to the Program Integrity Director and will be responsible for managing the Case Intake and Data Analytics subunit composed of 11 staff members with three (3) direct reports charged with managing hotline complaints, referrals, case assignments, data analytics, and processing law enforcement qui tam data request.

The Case Intake and Data Analytics Assistant Director will also troubleshoot and resolve quarterly reports for claims paid after a member’s Date of Death for fee-for-service and managed care programs. The desired candidate will collaborate with the Office of Analytics and Program Improvement to maintain a CMO Dashboard to ensure compliance with reporting requirements for investigations and overpayments for managed care plans. The candidate will also direct a diverse range of support, operational, and programmatic activities and will be required to implement policies and procedures to enhance business processes for the Program Integrity Unit.

Bachelor's degree in operations management, business administration, or a related field which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or eight (8) years of related professional experience which includes four (4) years in a managerial or supervisory role; or four (4) years of experience required at the lower level Mgr 2, Business Ops (GSM011) or position equivalent. Note: An equivalent combination of knowledge, education, job or intern experience, training, or certifications that provides the necessary knowledge and skills to successfully perform the job at the level listed may be substituted year-over-year.
