    Our client seeking a **Laboratory Technician** to perform routine analytical and laboratory testing, supporting food safety, quality, and operational teams. This role involves conducting in-process and final product testing, monitoring instrumentation performance, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication of test results.

    Located in Newark, CA

    6 month contract with extension

    **Pay:** $18-20/hour

     

    First shift

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform routine laboratory testing and analysis, documenting results in databases and communicating findings both verbally and in writing.

    + Follow safe laboratory practices to protect yourself and others, maintain proper station functionality, attend safety meetings, and perform preventive maintenance and calibration of complex equipment.

    + Support trials and experiments under the guidance of senior team members.

    + Identify and troubleshoot issues with atypical test results, consulting with senior-level personnel as needed.

    + Maintain laboratory supplies by monitoring inventory, placing orders, and verifying receipt.

    + Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical, or customer support tasks with minimal supervision, escalating only the most complex issues.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a scientific field or equivalent experience.
