Aurora on France TCU is a fast-paced, high-quality care facility conveniently located in Edina, MN, and connected to M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. Our dedicated and talented team works collaboratively to ensure patients meet their goals of care and return to their homes in the community. As the Nurse Manager, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a vibrant team, empower patients, and create lasting impacts while you work to achieve the our patients' goals of returning to their homes in the community.
This TCU Nurse Manager position will be tasked to provide efficient and customer friendly services for our TCU patients. Schedule includes
80 hours every two weeks
Day shift
Weekends as needed
Responsible for continuity of nursing care by delegating, directing, and monitoring nursing care delivered. Demonstrates management skills through effective problem solving and decision- making, assuring compliance with State and Federal regulations as well as Ebenezer Quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Leads, supervises, directs and/or delegates all nursing functions on assigned unit or floor to assure that care is provided per individualized plan of care.
+ Assures staff compliance with State and Federal regulations, Nursing Standards of Practice and Ebenezer Quality Assurance Standards.
+ Responsible for designated unit.
+ Assures that reporting process is accurate, up to date, and provides continuity of care from shift to shift.
+ Observes and evaluates cares given by nursing staff through daily rounds, random audits (i.e. assures that nursing staff are completing assignments/documentation, for completeness and accuracy).
+ Assures necessary equipment is present (TPN tubing, TF formula, trapeze to bed, oxygen).
+ Assure room placement is appropriate (immune-compromised not placed near infected). Isolation guidelines are followed if needed.
+ Assures that medications and treatments are administered per physician orders and facility policies.
+ Serves as positive role model to staff.
+ Participates in QAPI and quality improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
+ Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree – Registered Nurse
+ 1 year Long Term Care
+ Registered Nurse with the MN Board of Nursing
+ Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN)
+ AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor. American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED

+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 3 years Long Term Care

The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions.
