    About the role

    + Ensure all new team members secure the proper training and support to perform job at the required levels

    Scope:

    + Focus will be level positions across the entire Wanamingo Supply Center. This will include operations, quality, etc;

     

    Schedule –

     

    Thursday – Sunday

     

    5:00 AM – 3:00 PM

    Responsibilities

    + Review new employee performance to ensure site expectations are consistently matched

    + Develop classroom sessions and tests to verify employee’s skills meet needs

    + Work on the line(s) at minimum of 3 times per month to remain familiar with line feel

    + Track and review all training documentation

    + Audit experienced employees to ensure good practices are maintained

    + Work with team members to ensure the best practices match procedures

    + Review and update the training matrix to ensure it stays up to date

    + Work with supervisors to provide training support on issues that arise

    + Develop procedures for tasks that do not have them

    + Crosstrain with other areas to provide support when SME training team member is out

    + Take part in new hire orientation as needed

    + Lead new team member touch points - how is everything going?

    + Review SOP, JA, WI, etc as they are updated and adjust training needs as required

    + Load training minutes/hours into database for tracking purposes

    + Maintain positive attitude to help provide a strong experience for new hires

    + Participate in internal and/or external continuing education programs annually

    + Complete Train the Trainer program

    + Execute other tasks as assigned by leadership

    The skills for success

    + Experience in food manufacturing preferred

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    + Skilled with Microsoft Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

    + High attention to detail

    + Accurate record keeping ability

    + Able to work all 3 shifts

    + Ability to lift 50+ lb

    Education

    + Highschool diploma or GED

    USD $24.25 / Hourly

    US pay transparency

     

    The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
