Summary You will serve as a Activity Command Information Officer (ACIO) in the Program Executive Office of PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICE CARRIERS. The Secretary of Defense has ordered a department-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the DoD hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will provide overall management, programmatic analysis, and support of Information Technology (IT) systems, equipment, and peripherals. You will provide wide range of support for legacy IT, telecommunication and audiovisual equipment to our workforce. You will lead digital strategy initiatives by leading a diverse team across the enterprise in the planning and execution of projects that apply new/existing technology to solve business problems. You will oversee contract execution, budgeting, planning, and management of IT services to include software acquisition, development, and maintenance. You will serve as the Activity Command Information Officer (ACIO) for PEO Aircraft Carriers. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector analyzing or managing IT programs or services to identify potential problems and solution for IT systems and equipment.
