VIBRATION ANALYST
VIBRATION ANALYST JOB DESCRIPTION:
Conduct analysis of plant-wide vibration data collected through route based and remote monitoring of equipment. Make equipment repair recommendations and report the general health of rotating equipment based on analysis of vibration data. Help maintain and install remote vibration equipment.
This position will give you the opportunity to:
+ Review and report on the general health of rotating equipment by analyzing data using handheld instruments and specialized software
+ Use vibration analysis to determine the root cause of machine faults and create solutions to prevent equipment downtime.
+ Improve manufacturing equipment reliability and uptime
+ Develop and maintain strong area relationships with the Operations, Maintenance, and Reliability Teams
+ Shadow, learn, and work alongside a team of Vibration Analysts
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience and knowledge of predictive maintenance
+ Knowledge of machinery fundamentals, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, blowers, compressors, couplings, belt drives, etc.
+ Knowledge of general mechanical fundamentals, such as fits and tolerances
+ Must have good communication skills, both oral and written
+ Proficient computer skills, including but not limited to Windows, Word, and Excel
+ Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities
+ Able to work well independently
+ Ability to perform basic algebra
+ Willingness to pursue & maintain ISO vibration certifications
+ Genuine interest in expanding knowledge in this industry and becoming a recognized expert
OPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
+ CAT I, CAT II, and/or CAT III Vibration Certification
