    Job Summary:

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Mgr., Research Programs serves as program manager for clinical research studies, including but not limited to assisting in the development of recruitment goals; participating in the clinical study budget development and negotiation process; supervising a team of clinical research staff, including nurses and coordinators; communication of performance expectations; conducting performance evaluations; and monitors qualify assurance standards, programs, and procedures within the team.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Program Management

    + Defines and drives long-term program strategies, goals, and objectives in alignment with organizational priorities and executive leadership vision.

    + Provides strategic oversight and thought leadership for complex, multi-faceted programs, ensuring alignment across departments and enterprise initiatives.

    + Establishes governance frameworks and communication protocols to optimize collaboration, transparency, and accountability across diverse teams and stakeholders.

    + Leads resource planning and allocation, ensuring successful delivery of high-impact programs within scope, timeline, and budget.

    + Serves as a primary liaison with external partners, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, strengthening organizational reputation and fostering strategic alliances.

    Peer Leadership

    + Demonstrates transformational leadership, inspiring teams and peers to achieve ambitious goals and adopt best practices.

    + Serves as a mentor and coach to emerging leaders, fostering talent development and succession planning.

    + Leads large-scale project teams or cross-functional workgroups, driving collaboration and accountability across organizational boundaries.

    Financial Processes

    + Oversees multi-million-dollar budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and alignment with strategic priorities.

    + Develops and implements financial governance models, including forecasting, variance analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.

    + Partners with senior finance leadership to resolve complex budgetary challenges, optimize resource utilization, and ensure compliance with institutional policies.

    + Produces high-level financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership, providing actionable insights for decision-making.

    + Ensures robust financial controls and documentation for grants, contracts, and institutional funding streams.

    Quality Management

    + Leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and quality standards across programs.

    + Utilizes advanced analytics and data-driven methodologies to identify trends, mitigate risks, and inform strategic decisions.

    + Champions innovation and change management, introducing new frameworks and technologies to improve organizational performance.

    + Possesses expert-level knowledge in program management and broad understanding of related disciplines, enabling holistic problem-solving and strategic foresight.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    + Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) (Required)

    + 5 years relevant experience (Required)
