Job Summary
The Conference Service Manager plays a vital supporting role in delivering exceptional service across conference, meeting, and reception spaces. This hands-on position helps ensure daily operations run smoothly, supports the team’s success, and maintains a consistent and elevated guest experience. Working closely with the Director, this role assists with coordination, training, and service delivery across all front-of-house hospitality functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Experience & Operations
•Support daily operations of conference rooms, reception desks, and client-facing spaces.
•Serve as an on-the-floor contact to assist with guest needs, meeting logistics, and client requests.
•Monitor space readiness, presentation, and cleanliness throughout the day.
•Assist with preparing materials and setting rooms for meetings or VIP events.
Team Support & Training
•Help onboard new team members and assist with ongoing training initiatives.
•Lead by example in service delivery and professional presentation.
•Facilitate pre-shift huddles and communicate daily priorities or service updates.
Service Standards & Reporting
•Support implementation of Standard Operating Procedures and monitor team compliance.
•Contribute to service audits and help gather guest feedback.
Assist with data collection for reporting, activity logs, and service reviews.
Collaboration & Communication
•Act as a liaison between the team and leadership to communicate needs or escalate issues.
•Coordinate with facilities, IT, catering, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
•Provide back-up coverage at reception or events as needed.
