• Construction Quality Control Manager

    Job Description

    Insight Global is supporting a client seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) to ensure all building systems and construction activities meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and compliance. This role involves managing quality control processes throughout the project lifecycle - from submittal review to inspections, documentation, corrective actions, and close-out.

    Key Responsibilities:

    - Implement and maintain the project-specific Quality Control Plan.

     

    - Review and manage subcontractor submittals and ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.

     

    - Monitor and document daily construction quality practices to minimize deficiencies and rework.

     

    - Conduct inspections, verify deliveries, and maintain accurate records of site activities.

     

    - Prepare and manage punch lists and close-out documentation.

     

    - Lead pre-installation meetings and coordinate corrective actions for quality issues.

     

    - Collaborate with safety personnel to ensure compliance with regulations.

     

    - Provide regular quality updates to project leadership and participate in project meetings.

     

    This will be an onsite project in Arlington, VA with the hours of 8am-5pm, Mon-Fri. While it is a contract on a project basis, there is opportunity to convert to a full-time employee.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    - USACE Construction Quality Management (CQM) Certification (required).

     

    - OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety & Health Certification (required).

     

    - Minimum 5 years of experience as a CQCM on commercial or government projects.

     

    - 10 years of experience in construction overall.

     

    - Strong ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, and specifications.

     

    - Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.

     

    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Procore experience required.

     

    Valid U.S. driver’s license. - BS in Engineering or PE license.

     

    - Certified Construction Manager (CCM) designation.

     

    - Experience with DoD, NAVFAC, or USACE projects.

     

    - Familiarity with HCSS or similar construction software.
