Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Operations & Technology (O&T) is a $1.5B operating cash flow ($2B FCF) division of NBCUniversal. The group functions as a global shared service within NBCUniversal performing critical functions including Media, Broadcast and Studio Operations & Production, Content Supply Chain, Information Technology and Engineering, as well as Cyber Security. The group operates from numerous locations around the world, including New York, New Jersey, Los Angeles, and London.
The FP&A Manager will oversee O&T’s OCF financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis. The FP&A Manager will be responsible for the consolidation of OCF financials across multiple lines of businesses, managing the financial planning process, and providing financial insights to O&T stakeholders. The role will report to the Sr. Manager of FP&A.
Key Responsibilities
+ Manage all aspects of OCF annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, analyzing key metrics and trends, and summarizing for executive level presentations
+ Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data, and provide regular reporting on OCF performance, variances, and trends
+ Develop and manage headcount planning and consolidation, including monthly tracking and forecasting, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and financial goals
+ Lead monthly headcount and OCF updates with CFO and senior finance team
+ Develop and maintain relationships with operational finance to understand business drivers and support decision-making
+ Drive continuous improvement and simplification of FP&A processes and systems
+ Perform various ad-hoc analyses including variance analysis and other requests from corporate or senior management
+ Oversee O&T reporting hierarchies and system solution (Essbase), serve as liaison to IT support team to design, test and implement functionality improvements
Leadership and Culture
+ Manage a team of 1 individual, providing leadership, coaching, and development opportunities, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
+ Promote a strong sense of urgency for reaching goals and key deliverables
+ Develop open communication and productive work relationships with senior leadership and the broader finance team
Basic Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field
+ 3+ years of experience in Finance, FP&A experience preferred
+ Must be proficient with MS Office Suite products – particularly advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
+ Knowledge of Essbase preferred with exposure to BPC a plus

+ Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of finance, operations, and senior management
+ Continuous improvement attitude, ability to seek out and implement best practices
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
+ Experience in the Media / Tech industry is a plus
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the New York, NY office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
