SUMMARY
The AAA-ICDR Foundation advances access to justice through innovative dispute resolution initiatives, supports impactful projects, and promotes equitable, efficient conflict resolution globally. The Foundation seeks to expand its reach and influence through strategic programming, grants administration, marketing, and fundraising efforts.
The Foundation's Deputy Executive Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the AAA-ICDR Foundation. This dynamic and multifaceted role involves managing grants administration, supporting program development, driving fundraising and marketing efforts, and assisting the Executive Director with Board meetings and budgeting. The ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented, and collaborative professional who is passionate about advancing access to justice and equitable conflict resolution.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Grants administration
+ Manage the end-to-end grants process, including application intake, review coordination, recipient communications, reporting, and compliance.
+ Monitor grant-funded projects to ensure alignment with Foundation goals and reporting requirements.
+ Maintain accurate records in the Foundation's grants management system.
+ Main point of contact for organizing and working closely with the Foundation's Grants Committee Chair to run Grants Committee Meetings.
+ Programming
+ Collaborate with the Executive Director and Board Chair to develop and implement programs that align with the Foundation's mission and goals.
+ Monitor and evaluate program performance, recommending adjustments as necessary to maximize impact.
+ Fundraising
+ Lead the development and execution of fundraising strategies, encompassing donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship efforts.
+ Maintain and update donor databases and produce fundraising reports.
+ Plan and execute fundraising campaigns and events.
+ Marketing and Communications
+ Develop and implement marketing and outreach strategies to increase awareness of the Foundation's mission and impact.
+ Manage the Foundation's website, social media, newsletters, and other communication channels.
+ Collaborate with a marketing vendor to develop marketing materials, including annual reports, brochures, and press releases.
+ Board Support
+ Prepare materials for Board meetings, including agendas, presentations, and reports.
+ Take and distribute meeting minutes and follow up on action items.
+ Assist with Board communications and coordination.
+ Budgeting and Financial Administration
+ Assist the Executive Director in preparing the annual budget and monitoring financial performance.
+ Work closely with finance staff to process invoices and payments related to grants and Foundation operations, and ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.
+ Demonstrates regular, reliable, and predictable job attendance.
+ Attends onsite and in-person meetings and training sessions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, public administration, business, or a related field and a minimum of 3–5 years of experience in nonprofit operations, grants management, or a similar role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with fundraising, marketing, and financial administration is highly desirable.
