Retail Security Officer – Brooklyn, NY

**Pay Rate:** $19.00 per hour

**Job Type:** Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

Overview:

We are seeking professional, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Security Officers to join our team at a high-volume retail location in Brooklyn. This role is ideal for individuals who take pride in maintaining a safe environment, providing excellent customer service, and responding calmly and effectively to various situations.

Responsibilities:

+ Monitor store entrances, exits, and sales floors to maintain a safe and secure environment

+ Deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity through professional presence and observation

+ Conduct regular patrols of the interior and exterior areas

+ Assist store management with incident reporting and documentation

+ Respond to security-related incidents, emergencies, and safety concerns

+ Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers and staff

+ Follow all company policies, protocols, and post orders

Requirements:

+ Valid NYS Security Guard License preferred; if held, it must be valid and not expired

+ Prior retail or security experience is a plus

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills

+ Professional appearance and demeanor

+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

+ Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work assigned shifts

+ Must be able to handle situations calmly and responsibly
