Your role and responsibilities

As Package Specialist at IBM, you'll help clients in the selection, implementation, and production support of application packaged solutions.

You'll get in-depth Consulting experience, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology into the clients' business environment. Join us and start your path as a key player to achieve client results and become the expert you want to be. In your role you may be responsible for:

* Extensive Knowledge of IBM Maximo: A deep understanding of Maximo's architecture, modules, and functionalities is essential.

* This includes knowledge of Maximo EAM (Enterprise Asset Management), Maximo for Service Providers, and Maximo for Oil & Gas.

* Experience with Enterprise Software Architecture: The ability to design and implement complex, scalable enterprise software solutions.

* This includes understanding of service-oriented architectures (SOA), microservices, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.

This job can be performed from anywhere in the US.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Ability to thrive in an ever changing, technology based Consulting environment

* Ability to work both analytically using data and systems with a logical sequence to complex tasks

* Drive to overcome the most challenging or difficult obstacles and look for ways to improve results

* Proficiency in Java/J2EE: Given that Maximo is built on Java EE, a strong background in Java programming is necessary.

* Familiarity with J2EE components, frameworks, and tools is also required.
