Essential Job Duties:
This role involves conducting market research, analyzing data, and supporting the development of new noncredit and continuing education programs by providing actionable insights and coordinating with various teams. Or a related field.
Hybrid 3 days in office / 2 days remote, with preference for Mon/Tues/Wed or Tues/Wed/Thu for on-site days
Other Work/Responsibilities:
+ Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities in noncredit and continuing education programming.
+ Support feasibility studies for new program concepts by gathering data, synthesizing findings, and preparing recommendations grounded in labor market and industry insights.
+ Compile, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, including internal enrollment data, peer institution scans, labor market analytics, and national trends, to support decision-making for new program development.
+ Draft clear, concise research briefs, summary reports, and presentations for the New Program Innovation team, the Director of Strategic Initiatives, and campus partners.
+ Collaborate with teams to align research findings with strategic priorities, division goals, and emerging program opportunities.
+ Contribute to team discussions and planning sessions by providing data-driven insights that inform program pipelines and development priorities.
+ Support and help coordinate the development and management of new programming opportunities in open-enrollment, professional development, and corporate training spaces.
Required Qualifications:
+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to distill complex information into actionable insights.
+ Proficiency with Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel for data collection, analysis, and organization.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare professional research reports and summaries.
+ High attention to detail and accuracy in research, documentation, and data handling.
+ Ability to balance multiple priorities, work independently, and manage tasks within a fast-paced, project-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
+ Familiarity with higher education, particularly noncredit, workforce development, or continuing education program development.
+ Experience using survey tools (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) and/or data visualization platforms.
+ Project management or coordination experience.
+ Background in education, workforce development, labor market analysis, or related fields.
+ Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (business, social sciences, education, or related areas) and/or 2+ years of experience in higher education, program development, market research, or a related field.
