What You’ll Do:
As a Chemist I / Lab Technician, you will support the development and evaluation of chemical methods and product applications. Your responsibilities include:
+ Conducting laboratory experiments, interference studies, and reagent stability studies.
+ Assisting senior chemists with methods development projects.
+ Writing chemical analysis procedures, technical documents, and calibration reports.
+ Generating formularies and quality control procedures for new test reagents.
+ Executing tasks assigned by the Chemistry Manager or senior team members, adhering to quality and schedule expectations.
+ Using judgment to apply guidelines, adapt procedures, and address minor deviations, escalating as needed.
+ Maintaining accurate laboratory notebooks and documenting development work.
+ Presenting findings clearly and concisely to the team.
+ Reviewing technical journals and competitive literature to stay informed on markets and technology.
+ Applying core chemistry knowledge to support projects or business objectives.
What You Bring:
+ Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry or a related field
+ 0–2 years of relevant experience
+ Solid chemistry skills and understanding of analytical laboratory techniques and procedures
+ Strong analytical and technical application skills
+ Knowledge of chemical and/or electromechanical manufacturing principles
+ Ability to define VOCs and product specifications
+ Academic-level presentation skills and ability to translate technical information for stakeholders
+ Beginning project management skills
