    Our client, Michigan Medicine, is seeking an Inventory Associate to join their team. As an Inventory Associate, you will be part of the Food Service Department supporting the hospital's nourishment and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Inventory Associate

    **Location:** Ann Arbor, MI

    **Pay Rate:** $18

    **Shifts Available:** Sunday – Thursday 5:30am-2:00pm or 6:00am-2:30pm; Tuesday – Saturday 2:00pm-10:30pm; Sunday – Wednesday 2:00pm-10:30pm

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Monitor temperature of refrigerators and freezers using the TempTrak system to ensure safety and compliance

    + Respond to temperature alerts, investigate units out of range, and document actions taken to restore proper temperature

    + Perform daily audits of nourishment room refrigerators, labeling and discarding expired foods as per guidelines

    + Collect and sanitize formula from nourishment rooms, assist with formula delivery, and maintain cleanliness in storage areas

    + Submit work orders for refrigeration issues and coordinate with maintenance for urgent repairs

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + Reasonable knowledge of food handling principles, safety procedures, and equipment used in food service environments

    + Good oral and written communication skills

    + Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

    + A customer-focused attitude and ability to work collaboratively

    + Ability to respond promptly to temperature alerts and maintain accurate documentation

    + Able to comply with Michigan Medicine immunization requirements (MMR, Varicella, TDaP, annual Influenza, and negative TB test)
