    As a critical member of the Global Merchandising Brand Initiative team, this enterprise role will work in partnership with all our global Sport teams to help track and measure the overall health of our portfolio in key areas, such as Core FW and Fleece, providing critical insights to support Sport Merchandising key decisions.

     

    WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

     

    This role partners closely with Global Sport Merchants, Geo Brand Initiative Merchants, and cross-functional teams including Integration, Demand, Data, Analytics, Finance, and Business Intelligence. Reporting to the Director of Global Brand Merchandising Initiatives, you’ll collaborate across Nike’s merchandising ecosystem to deliver portfolio insights and strategies.

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Nike is seeking a strategic, consumer-focused merchant with a passion for product and the Nike brand. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong analytical skills, and demonstrates the ability to lead through influence. Success in this role requires balancing art and science as well as competing priorities — leveraging data, market feedback, and creative vision to shape cross-sport business strategies. The ideal candidate is a collaborative leader who inspires teams, drives end-to-end strategies, and navigates complexity with confidence and agility.

    Key Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training

    + 5+ years of experience in merchandising, planning, product and/or retail in a vertical, multi-brand or digital environment, or analytics supporting these functions

    + Strong understanding of retail metrics such as sell-through, margin, AUR (Average Unit Retail), and UPT (Units Per Transaction)

    + Proven ability to influence at all levels of the organization, lead through change, and communicate effectively across diverse teams

    + Open to work in Beaverton, OR

     

    WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

     

    You’ll develop and execute strategies that monitor and elevate the health of Nike’s portfolio across key business areas, driving insights that inform merchandising decisions and brand initiatives.

    Core Responsibilities:

    + Build an integrated approach to track portfolio health across Sport Offense categories (Core Footwear and Fleece) in partnership with analytics and insights teams

    + Deliver actionable insights to guide line planning and assortment decisions for Sport Merchandising, in partnership with Merchandising Integration

    + Collaborate with Sport Merchants to ensure cross-sport plans align with brand vision and financial goals

    + Lead the cross-sport perspective during seasonal gates, bringing portfolio vision and tools to life

    + Inspire collaboration and lead through change to drive innovation and progress
