    Aquatic Informatics (AQI) is currently seeking a Vice President, Sales.

    Position Summary

    The Vice President, Sales is responsible for leading AQI’s global sales team to achieve ambitious growth targets across all AQI software products. This executive will collaborate closely with other AQI senior leaders (Finance, Marketing, Customer Service, Software Engineering) and with commercial teams across Veralto operating companies (OPCOs) to drive sales of AQI solutions. The VP will develop, deploy, and maintain AQI’s commercial strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market opportunities.

     

    Travel expectations are around 40% including international travel.

    Key Responsibilities

    Senior Leadership Collaboration

    + Partner with AQI senior leaders to define offerings, go-to-market strategies, and value proposition messaging.

    + Responsible to ensure timely delivery of accurate bookings, revenue and expense forecasts.

    + Collaborate with Veralto OPCOs to identify and execute cross-company sales opportunities.

    + Provide market insights and feedback to product and strategy teams to inform solution development and portfolio expansion.

    + Foster a culture of transparency, empathy, accountability and self-awareness across functions and operating companies.

    Lead the Global AQI Sales Team

    + Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive global sales organization.

    + Guide execution of current and new initiatives to achieve growth targets.

    + Develop and implement scalable sales processes, including pipeline/funnel management, territory and quota development, forecasting, and sales compensation.

    + Ensure outstanding customer experiences and high accountability across new logo and account management teams.

    + Attract, develop, and retain top sales talent; support ongoing training and professional development.

    Commercial Strategy Development & Execution

    + Develop, maintain, and improve AQI’s commercialization strategy to expand reach to new customers and deepen relationships with existing accounts.

    + Identify and prioritize top customer segments; maximize sales and share gain potential through targeted go-to-market strategies.

    + Coordinate with Product Management to address product gaps and maximize revenue from the existing portfolio.

    + Participate in industry trade functions to stay abreast of market changes and opportunities.

    + Establish commercial strategies for annual strategic planning processes.

    + Drive process optimization and continuous improvement, utilizing data analysis and problem-solving methodologies.

    Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

    + 10+ years of commercial leadership experience in SaaS or B2B software, with at least 5 years leading sales teams.

    + Proven track record of exceeding revenue goals and driving sales growth in a high-growth environment.

    + Experience building and leading high-performance sales organizations globally.

    + Strong financial acumen and ability to set and achieve budgetary and profitability objectives.

    + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

    + Customer-centric approach with a high sense of urgency.

    + Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.

    + Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    + Experience with water quality software products is a plus.

    The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

     

    The compensation range for this role is $195,000.00 - $240,000.00 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
