    Maintenance Technician

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventive maintenance across designated zones.

    + Apply expert knowledge in at least one zone and intermediate knowledge across plant systems.

    + Troubleshoot and repair equipment, demonstrating technical proficiency.

    + Proactively identify work needs and generate accurate work orders in the CMMS.

    + Respond to line calls, completing 95% independently within your zone and 80% across the plant.

    + Collaborate with other disciplines to resolve issues and improve reliability.

    + Support predictive maintenance activities such as vibration analysis and thermal imaging.

    + Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and uphold safety standards.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Permanent position based out of Joliet, IL.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.

    PROVIDED TOOLS

    HAND TOOLS:

    Hammers (ball peen, dead blow, rubber), screwdrivers (Phillips #1/#2, flathead, pocket), nut drivers (1/4"–3/4"), box end wrenches (SAE & metric), Allen wrenches (SAE & metric), crescent wrenches, vise grips, channel locks, ratcheting wrenches, socket sets, pliers (standard, needle nose, snap ring), Torx sets, side cutters, feeler gauges, punches, utility knife, tube cutter, files, pick set, grease gun, belt skiver.

    MESURING AND SPECIALTY INSTRUMENTS:

    25’ tape measure, level, drill indexes, Fluke T5-1000 tester.

    PPE

    Arc flash PPE, hard hat, face shield, balaclava, electrical glove kit (rubber inner, leather outer, glove bag).

    ELECTRICAL TOOLS

    Insulated screwdrivers, pliers (linemen’s, diagonal, slip joint, needle nose), wire stripper, crimper, nut drivers, coil tester.

    WELDING TOOLS

    Welding jacket, auto-darkening helmet, gas welding/cutting goggles.

    This is a fully onsite position in Joliet,IL.
