Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. This permanent position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to contribute to the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records while supporting essential accounting functions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and execute month-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with accounting standards.

• Prepare and post journal entries, verifying proper documentation and adherence to policies.

• Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure consistency across financial records.

• Conduct bank reconciliations to confirm the accuracy of transactions and account balances.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve accounting workflows and resolve financial discrepancies.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for process improvement.

• Assist in audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

• Prepare detailed financial reports and summaries for management review.

• Support other accounting functions as needed to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements • Proven experience in month-end close processes and general ledger management.

• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing journal entries with high attention to detail.

• Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations, with a focus on accuracy.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Expertise in using accounting software and tools to streamline processes.

• Excellent analytical skills to assess financial data and identify discrepancies.

• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
