Job Description
We are looking for an entry-level **Assembly Technician** to support manufacturing operations by ensuring machines and equipment are prepared for daily use and products meet quality standards. This position will be **Full-Time** and **onsite,** working **2nd shift- 2pm to 10pm Monday - Friday.**
What You’ll Do
+ Prepare machines and equipment for daily use
+ Perform quality checks and ensure products meet quality standards
+ Communicate with set-up, technicians, and supervisors regarding any issues that arise during operations
+ Use inspection tools, independently complete quality inspection documentation, and make necessary adjustments
+ Understand gauging and visual inspection tooling while maintaining attention to detailed processes
+ Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation and notification when defects are identified
What You'll Need
Required:
+ High School Diploma (or equivalent years of experience)
+ High energy, self-motivation, attention to detail, and willingness to learn and advance in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment
+ Experience interacting with mechanical systems
+ Proficiency with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators for dimensional inspection of materials
+ Proven record of using inspection data to ensure quality
+ Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures
+ Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
+ Ability to read and write English
+ Previous experience with quality inspection tools and detailed inspection documentation
Physical Demands
+ Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 30 lbs safely and dependably
+ Push/pull a minimum weight of 180 lbs safely and dependably with the assistance of a hand dolly
+ Repetitious hand work, rotating daily tasks
+ Frequent standing, sitting, walking, and balancing throughout the shift (8-10 hours)

$19.80 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
