As a Financial Crimes Emerging Crime Senior Investigator, you protect us from financial crime risks and drive strategic solutions. You leverage advanced analytics and collaborate across teams to identify suspicious activities and emerging typologies. You help us strengthen our compliance programs and ensure we remain at the forefront of industry trends. In this role, you influence change, manage impactful projects, and foster a culture of vigilance and integrity.
Job Responsibilities
+ Lead investigations into financial crimes, identifying suspicious activities and recommending actions.
+ Apply advanced data analytics to uncover patterns, trends, and anomalies in financial data.
+ Utilize internal and external data sources to identify financial crime risks and typologies.
+ Advise senior management and collaborate with business leaders to design and implement solutions.
+ Draft and document governance structures that integrate intelligence, risk typologies, and product strategy.
+ Map and assess cross-functional impacts of governance and process changes across teams.
+ Engage stakeholders to drive action and present data-driven findings in a business context.
+ Manage programs and initiatives of varying scope and complexity.
+ Support risk understanding through robust data analysis and research.
+ Implement process improvements informed by data analysis and emerging trends.
+ Maintain confidentiality and escalate issues as appropriate.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Expertise in financial crime investigations, anti-money laundering operations, and compliance.
+ Advanced data analysis skills and experience with compliance management systems and technology tools.
+ Ability to assess complex regulatory requirements and identify compliance risks.
+ Experience developing and documenting governance structures and operating models.
+ Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
+ Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
+ Discretion in managing confidential information.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience in financial crime compliance or related functions.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong organizational and project management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
+ Experience in drafting and implementing target operating models for financial crime compliance.
+ Familiarity with global financial crime trends and regulatory changes.
+ Experience presenting complex findings to senior management.
+ Knowledge of cross-functional impacts in governance and compliance.
+ Advanced proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools.
+ Experience driving process improvements in a compliance environment.
+ Professional certification in financial crime compliance or investigations.
