    Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher – $55/hr – Fort Worth, TX

    Position Overview:

    We are seeking two Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teachers to provide specialized instruction and support for students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate and be comfortable using American Sign Language (ASL).

    Assignment Details:

    + Location: Fort Worth, TX

    + Start Date: January 5, 2026

    + End Date: End of 2025–2026 School Year

    + Schedule:

    + Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week, serving approximately 60 students

    + Part-Time: 20 hours/week, serving approximately 30 students

    + Duration: 25 weeks

    + Pay Rate: $55/hour

    + Modality: In-person

    Responsibilities:

    + Provide instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing

    + Utilize ASL effectively in the classroom

    + Collaborate with general education teachers and staff

    + Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and district regulations

    Requirements:

    + Valid state teaching certificate

    + Comfortable and proficient in ASL

    + Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
