This role will support a startup investing app. As a member of the team, you will work with teams with a diverse set of skills across product, growth, service, and leadership organizations to devise measurement strategy and deliver insights from diverse data sets.

_Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

_Rate: $70 - $75 / hr. w2_

Responsibilities:

+ Growing our agile development culture through use of excellent engineering skills and a deep knowledge of industry standard methodologies

+ Lead with strong engineering standard methodologies when it comes design patterns, bringing to bear CI/CD pipelines, test automation and application performance

Experience Requirements:

+ 10+ years of professional C++ Development experience with at least 3+ of those on UNIX systems.

+ Design, develop and deploy applications with a focus on high availability, low latency and scalability.

+ Deep knowledge of C++ with the latest standards, UNIX OS internals, CPU architecture, and networking hardware and protocols.

+ Working knowledge of Golang and kdb+/q will be added advantage

+ Knowledge of Equities Electronic Trading business, previous experience in Smart Order Router, Market Data or Order Management Systems development is desirable, but not required

+ Design, develop and maintain test cases for your application

+ Ability to investigate, isolate, and tackle technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologies

+ Advanced skills in scripting languages for automation

+ Experience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins Core

+ Superb communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization.

+ Obsessed with creating the best end-to-end experience

+ Owns the outcome by taking personal accountability for delivering strong results

+ Passionate about Test Driven Development, developing robust software, writing testable and maintainable code

+ Passionate and results oriented technical leader

+ Keenly interested in learning new technologies and their adoption

Education Requirements:

+ Bachelor's or above in Computer Science or related field

_Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range._
