    Job Summary:

    Join Caterpillar on the **Ultra Class Large Mining Truck team** as a **Senior Configuration Systems Integration Engineer** and play a pivotal role in designing and integrating advanced configuration systems that drive product accuracy and efficiency. This position focuses on developing and maintaining system integration solutions that support complex product configurations across global platforms. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between engineering and manufacturing systems and enterprise applications, enabling optimized workflows and data consistency. The role offers opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies, influence system architecture, and contribute to Caterpillar’s digital transformation initiatives. Located in Tucson, AZ, this position provides a dynamic environment for innovation and professional growth.

    What You Will Do:

    + Design, develop, and implement system integration solutions for product configuration platforms.

    + Collaborate with engineering, IT, and product teams to ensure accurate and efficient configuration processes.

    + Analyze system requirements and translate them into technical specifications for integration.

    + Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to maintain system reliability and performance.

    + Drive continuous improvement initiatives for integration processes and tools.

    + Ensure compliance with Caterpillar’s standards, security protocols, and best practices.

    + Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers on integration projects.

    + Machine bill of material ownership and management

    Education requirement:

    + Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering or Materials Science curriculum.

    Top Candidates will also have:

    + Extensive experience with Caterpillar systems and/or component design

    + Familiarity with PLM systems, ERP integration, and digital manufacturing platforms.

    + Advanced knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

    + Experience in cloud-based integration solutions

    + Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.

    What skills you will have:

    + Strong proficiency in **system integration methodologies** and tools.

    + Experience with **product configuration systems** and enterprise-level applications.

    + Knowledge of **data modeling** , APIs, and middleware technologies.

    + Ability to manage complex projects and deliver results within deadlines.

    + Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Summary Pay Range:

    $110,520.00 - $165,840.00
