Upholstery Tech I

**Location:** Savannah, GA 31408

**Shift:** 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

**Pay Rate:** $23.31/hour

Essential Job Functions

+ Fabricate and install upholstery, cover panels, and create simple patterns for aircraft interiors.

+ Perform upholstery and trim work following design drawings, work orders, FAA specifications, and customer requirements.

+ Fit and install interior components including panels, windows, headliners, sidewalls, bulkheads, hatch panels, and carpets.

+ Cut, surge, and install carpets according to design patterns.

+ Use material tracking systems to create part demands, sign off tasks, and track work progress.

Must-Have Requirements

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and engineering documentation.

+ Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic math.

+ Experience with commercial sewing machines, sergers, and upholstery tools (preferred).

+ Computer literacy and ability to work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs.

+ Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking).

+ Ability to work assigned shift.
