As a **Security Officer - Armed Dispatch Response Aero/Defense** in **Marietta, GA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter security-related incidents, and uphold a secure environment. This is an armed and driving post. You will remain visible, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly while responding to incidents. What You'll Do:

+ Monitor and manage access control systems to help regulate entry and exit at the location.

+ Receive and respond to calls for service, dispatching appropriate personnel as needed.

+ Coordinate communication between on-site personnel and emergency services during incidents and/or critical situations.

+ Document and report security-related incidents and activities in accordance with site-specific policies.

+ Assist in maintaining a calm environment during emergencies by following established protocols.

+ Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries and directions.

+ Support Allied Universal in carrying out security-related procedures tailored to the needs of an aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.

+ Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
