Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Medical Office Professional, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our clinic, providing essential administrative support for a smooth patient experience.

Every day, you will manage patient reception, schedule appointments, handle calls, and guide check-in/out. You'll verify demographics, process payments, and ensure clear communication between patients and staff, maintaining an efficient front desk.

To be successful in this role, you will possess exceptional interpersonal skills, strong organization, attention to detail, and tech proficiency. Your calm task management, compassionate approach, and dedication to excellence are paramount.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Six (6) month's experience in an outpatient setting as a Medical Office Receptionist preferred; or an equivalent amount of experience in a high-volume customer service role in another industry/environment; or 6 months experience as a Phone Receptionist or Health Information Associate within Dignity Health Medical Foundation.

+ High School diploma or equivalent

+ Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills are essential.

+ Keyboarding skills and the ability to utilize computer equipment and software are required as is experience with other types of standard office equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ Familiarity with an electronic practice management system is preferred.

+ Experience with multi-line phones/ACD phones preferred. Medical terminology preferred.

Pay Range

$24.24 - $34.24 /hour
