Description We are looking for a dedicated Branch/Retail Banking Clerk to join our team in Akron, Ohio. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key part in delivering excellent customer service while managing essential banking operations. This position offers an opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with banking policies.

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

• Process deposits, withdrawals, and other banking transactions with attention to detail.

• Assist customers with account-related questions and offer solutions to meet their needs.

• Maintain proper records and documentation for all transactions.

• Utilize computer systems to input data and manage banking operations effectively.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless branch operations.

• Uphold security measures and safeguard sensitive customer information.

• Identify and escalate any discrepancies or potential issues to management.

• Support the branch in meeting its operational and customer service goals. Requirements • Proven experience in cash handling and bank operations.

• Strong customer service skills with a focus on problem-solving.

• Proficiency in basic math to ensure accuracy in transactions.

• Familiarity with computer systems and software used in banking.

• Ability to work efficiently in a front-line role.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

• Capability to address and resolve customer inquiries professionally.

• Previous experience in retail banking is preferred.
