The Machine Operator in our Metal Stamping department will actively support and represent the SFS Group USA- Division Construction team by having detailed knowledge of assigned stamping equipment and operates it with highest efficiency. He/she will proactively support continuous improvement, productivity, and safety-oriented projects to further business goals

Key Responsibilities

+ Stamping press safety and general machine operation

+ Program PMC controls

+ Set up press dies and loading machines with materials

+ Inspect parts and follow SFS inspection processes for quality

+ Support predictive and preventative maintenance process

+ Requesting work to be pulled from the warehouse.

+ Prevents and detects potential quality problems by following the QES (Quality, Environmental, Safety) standards

+ Actively participate in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP)

+ Cleaning machinery, workstation, and other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate

+ Ability to stand for up to 8 hours

+ Ability to lift up to 45 lbs

+ Ability to pass forklift certification test with training

+ Ability to use measuring equipment and read blue prints

+ Lean knowledge, strongly preferred

+ Bilingual Spanish/ English a plus
